The Load Set Engineer bears responsibility for for load set calculations in the Engineering process of the development of Wind Turbines. To do so the following is required:
- To specify and initiate activities by third parties in relation to load set models with applicable simulation package, stationary and dynamic calculations; - To compose loadsets and perform post-processing with the results of them - To develop post-processing programs - To include all requirements following applicable standards for wind turbines. - To judge and monitor activities carried out by third parties; - To take part in technology, developments in concept and calculation methods; - To bring up improvements in calculation methods; - To create solutions in case of calamities. But also: - To reject unsafe data sets; - To reject work that has not been carried out properly by third parties in own specialism; - To provide technical advice.
Within the framework: - To use the applicable standards for models, calculations and load sets; - To be informed with the developments in state of the art technology; - To bear co-responsibility for optimal design together with other engineers. |
