Business Development Manager – Nordics | Cyber Security (Europe)
For a client of ours, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager for the Nordics. In this role, you will be responsible for increasing revenue and market share in Scandinavia by developing commercial relationships, securing new critical contracts, and managing existing clients.
This is a key position within an international organization that is a leader in Cyber Security.
About the role
As a Business Development Manager, you will manage the full sales cycle in the Nordics: from identifying new commercial opportunities to onboarding customers and managing existing accounts. You will represent the organization in the market, translate Cyber Security developments into client-focused solutions, and work closely with internal teams to achieve growth targets.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Acquire new customers from a specified target list
- Fully understand the product portfolio and generate opportunities that differentiate from competitors
- Stay up to date with trends and developments in the Cyber Security industry
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective customers
- Forecast sales in line with CRM processes
- Onboard newly acquired customers
Account Management
- Manage all existing accounts, including resellers and international clients
- Build and maintain strategic client relationships
- Ensure excellent post-sales support within the responsible region
Sales Administration & Processes
- Monitor payments and outstanding invoices
- Support marketing campaigns and events to achieve revenue goals
- Develop and execute sales plans according to agreed methodologies
- Follow established sales processes and procedures
Other Responsibilities
- Achieve targets, KPIs, and other objectives
- Lead tender processes for potential customer opportunities when applicable
- Maintain internal stakeholder relationships
- Translate Cyber Security developments into customer-driven solutions
Your profile
- Experience in a BDM or sales role in the Nordics, preferably within the Enterprise sector
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and resilient under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Proactive, commercially aware, and dynamic
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and plan effectively
- Proven track record of meeting KPIs and sales targets
- Fluent in at least one Nordic language (Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, or Finnish)
- Willingness to travel within Europe, including London
- Full and valid driving license
