This company, which began as a consultancy, has turned its successful expertise with more than 30,000 buildings into accessible online tools. Anyone can now increase the sustainability of their own buildings with their own suppliers, contractors, and banks. As a result, the entire construction sector is now able to become more sustainable itself. Our client has grown from a scale of greening 2,000 buildings per year to over 400,000 buildings per year.

The Position

As Account Executive, you are responsible for maintaining and expanding the company’s B2B customer portfolio. You are involved and in control of the whole process, from the initial pitch to the drafting of cooperation proposals to its signing. You and your colleagues design unique solutions for customers abroad, and you are ultimately in charge of procuring the contract. Every year our client launches in new countries and onboards new partners. With an entrepreneurial eye, you look at your own time and the opportunities in the market to determine where you can make the most impact. You will collaborate directly with experts within the organisation in the areas of sustainability, energy saving, data consulting, and software development. At this company you can contribute to a better world while expanding your network and your skills in the fields of sustainability, real estate, and finance.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining client relationships at the finance, real estate and corporate levels;

  • Translating software and services into a custom solution for your clients;

  • Final responsibility for the commercial process, from pitch to signature;

  • Identifying, developing and capitalising on new opportunities; identifying, cultivating and converting new clients;

  • Developing new market segments.

Who are You?

  • You are a driven, entrepreneurial and ambitious go-getter;

  • The importance of sustainability is a no-brainer for you;

  • You are communicative and professional;

  • 5-10 years of experience in business development, consultancy, sales, partnerships, etc;

  • Experience in real estate, finance, sustainability, energy or software is a plus;

  • Excellent command of English; additional language is a plus;

  • Able to travel to Naarden several times a week (work is flexible, but working together in person is valued!)
