Regional Sales Manager UK & Ireland
Job Description
Role and responsibilities
As a regional sales director you are responsible for our sales activities in UKI. You will be part of our European team and will report directly to our Global VP Sales (bases in the Netherlands). Your main objective is to grow the region with new customers, get in touch with all contacts from the DMU and build relationships in the sales cycle to close deals.
What you will be doing:
• Following up on leads,
• Your own “prospecting”; approaching inbound and outbound prospects via different channels. And
work with leadgen tools like Apollo,
• Administer in Salesforce (according to an existing process),
• Managing the full sales cycle,
• Preparing quotations / making cost estimates (with input from our Configuration Team),
• Create proposals,
• Contracting based on templates and supported by VP Global Sales, Managing Director and Legal,
• Making smooth transfers of closed deals to our consultants.
Profile
To fill the role of region sales director UKI, we are looking for someone who meets the profile below:
• You are a self-starter, and you have experience in software sales (preferably in a SaaS model).
• A completed education at Bachelor or Master level.
• Driven.
• Independent.
• Can use your own buildup network (preferable in finance, investor relations of corporate
communications),
• Social intelligence, pleasant to work with,
• Experience in the UK culture,
• Fluent in English, in written and speech,
• You have 5-10 years of experience in a similar role,
• Experienced with presenting,
• Experience with selling B2B software, preferably in a SAAS model,
• Experience with long-term B2B sales cycles,
• Plus, if you have experience with finance, disclosure management, consolidation, ESG reporting,
business performance management (BPM) and/or investor relations software/solutions,
• Proven ability to quickly learn and transfer the USPs and positioning of a software product,
• Demonstrable “drive” to get to know the product well,
• Be able to provide an initial company presentation and product demonstrations,
• Experience and comfortable working with targets,
• Able to plan for closing and update funnel/pipeline.
• Willingness to commute to prospects with focus on Greater London area.
