Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer

As an all-around Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer, you ensure that various projects are completed successfully. These multidisciplinary projects range in size from small to medium-sized and involve modifications and improvements to existing and new installations, from feasibility studies to detailed design, from concept to construction. As a result, no two days are alike. Your challenge is to be able to move between projects fast (250 to 300 projects per year for the entire team). For larger and complex projects, we provide support from our office locations.

As an Engineer, you are in charge of all electrical and instrumentation technical installations on projects. You will work in a multidisciplinary, involved and motivated team. You are also responsible for drawing up (purchasing) specifications for new equipment based on information collected regarding technical and functional requirements.

Finally, in the implementation phase, you will be responsible for the management and interfacing with these parties.

You will be in contact with the many clients and stakeholders of your projects as part of your work, and you will be responsible for Scope, Planning, and Budget. The most important recurring aspects in your work are efficiency, safety, and sustainability. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects within various sectors in the industry.

• At least 5 years of experience as an all-round Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer in a similar role on small to medium-sized projects;
• Completed HBO or WO education in Electrical Engineering and/or Measurement and Control Engineering or in a comparable field;
• Broad experience in your professional discipline and demonstrable experience with both electrical and instrumentation technical installations within the industry;
• A healthy dose of independence and proactivity which, among other things, enable you to step into a factory on site and supervise matters where and when necessary. You are therefore able to communicate on different levels, both with operators and with managers;
• A proactive, pragmatic attitude with attention to the processes, the team and an eye on the goals;
• Good communication skills in both the Dutch and English language.
