Accounting Employee

As Accounting Employee you will strengthen our client’s finance department, maintaining contact with various stakeholders and colleagues. Your initial focus will be, but will not be limited to, their strategic IT consulting firm in Zoetermeer.

You and your colleagues will be jointly responsible for the incoming invoice flow, project/hour administration, project invoicing, and services to clients and consultants. Among your primary responsibilities are:

• Processing purchase invoices for all the group's operating companies. This includes checking invoices for accuracy and coding invoices for processing in the accounting system, tracking the progress process, making and processing payments;
• You will be the point of contact for invoice, dispute, and payment inquiries.
• Monitoring the completeness of time registration, creating projects based on client agreements, invoicing hours worked, or deadlines for consultant deployment. On occasion, You will also record the hours worked by hired external employees.
• Instructing new employees on how to enter/monitor hours;
• Assisting the business controller with reconciliations, corrections and checks for reporting purposes, as well as performing ad hoc work as needed.

• You have a completed MBO+ or HBO work and thinking level;
• You have relevant experience in accounts payable and/or project management;
• You enjoy actively contributing to the efficient design and improvement of processes within your department;
• You are capable of completing meticulous work under time constraints;
• You are precise and pay close attention to detail;
• You are the proactive type who gets along well with coworkers, managers, and upper management;
• You have excellent command of both the Dutch and English languages;
• You are available for at least 32 hours a week.
